NEWS: 21/08/17

For the past week I have been taking the challenge of Assistant Director on behalf of Lighthouse Theatre’s production of Noel Coward’s wonderful comedy ‘Mild Oats’ it has been a wonderful, challenge & one that I wasn’t sure how I would fare. Despite being nervous it turned out to be an exciting opportunity & one which I would have no hesitation in performing in future. It has meant adding another string to my bow & I couldn’t have asked to have a better mentor than Adrian Metcalfe.

Delighted to have taken part in The Young Artists Festival at The Other Room in Cardiff back in June performing in ‘Strange Rain’ by the talented Sian Owen. I shall be back at The Other Room on the 24th July performing a Rehearsed Reading of Hefin Robinson’s play ‘Holding Out For a Hero’ as well as another reading which will be announced soon.

To be an Actor is a difficult thing. To try & create something that someone has written & fit & shape it to how you perceive it is a difficult task to navigate, but, seldom is it one that doesn’t challenge me or push me. If you’re willing to be open to it it can inspire you & make you see the world in a whole different light. That’s why continuing to train is so important because, you want to be better than the you were before.

It’s been performed on the streets of Swansea & it’s been an absolute please. Now, you can listen & immerse yourself in the atmosphere of ‘Return Journey’ & for the price of a cup of coffee it’s well worth the money as well. Thomas saw the Swansea he knew disappear in 3 nights of harsh destruction & war but, the names that he knew & the spirit & life remained. Check it out on the link below:
